Crappie Lakes near Junction TX?

My brother might be buying a place near Junction. What's the nearest Crappie fishing?

Junction, TX and crappie don't quite go together. Closest lake with some decent crappie is Brady Creek Reservoir. The drought out west has not been good for the small lake. Lake gained about 3+ ft this spring and is 13.5 ft low. Haven't heard any reports from out there in over 5 yrs.

Junction is right in the heart of great crappie fishing!! It's 500 miles in any direction!!

Granger lake east of Georgetown used to be a great crappie lake. Don't know about now...

Lake LBJ isn't 2 far...Kerville/Fredericksburg/Llano/Kingsland

Brady lake had a golden algae bloom die-off, not sure about the fishing there. Prolly Kerville would be your closest, but I have never fished it. OH Ivie would be a little further for you, but a good choice. The Llano river has some good catfish and bass fishing, but I never caught a crappie in it, but it has been a long time since I fished it...
