Never been to PK, what ramp could I launch from coming from Fort Worth and what's the fee? Thanks

You can launch from any of them, just depends what part of the lake you want to be on. There is a $5.00/day fee that you need to get a permit for. The stores around the lake have them, as well as some of the ramps. South D&D is somewhat centrally located and has a kiosk for the permit. Look at TPWD website and the map will show you all the ramps.

I thought the BRA was going to do away with the fees. Are they planning too?

Was at PK last week and bought a BRA permit at the Slalom Shop. They said the BRA is doing away with the permits in October 2015.

I would choose the ramp that is furthest south, i.e. closest to the dam.

BRA fees are in effect until Sept 1st.
