Looking at a boat manufacturer, when they describe the boat construction, what's the difference between Gel-Web and all composite construction? Looking at pics of the boats, they look similar. However, when looking at the "optional features", All composite is listed as the more expensive option.

I could be wrong but i thought the gel web was lighter and the composite stronger with more back bone make it more durable but again I could be wrong

Thanks. Agree, I think it's a another way of saying one boat finishing option is gel coat on the gel-web and epoxy/linear urethane on the all composite.

gel-coat is tha "first thing" sprayed in tha mold no mater what material is gonna be used with most production boats.. some even go as far as callin' glass n plywood a "composite" which technically it would be!

Gel-Web sounds like chopper gun used next after tha gel coat is sprayed, but maybe not.. no one I know has ever heard of that term but they are all "hand laid" guys!
What ya say Rainygirl??
