I can only speak for Hobie yaks. After each trip, in salt, you should wash down the yak and mirage drive. I do not oil the mirage drive each time, but I can tell when a light lub is needed.The rudder lines are almost maintenance free, but on occasion I will adjust and tighten the lines. Only when needed.

I have the Mirage drive but not the Hobie kayak. You may need to make sure the mast rods don't get bent running into rocks etc. May have to loosen a fin to bend them back.
I like my fins really tight. Loose fins are good for low speed acceleration but tight fins are better for the long haul
My drive needs oil every trip or it will screech like a banshee.
I have had to tune my up drive with a wrench about once a year. Tighten the cable nuts. Need to make sure that the drive is aligned correctly vertically when the pedals are together and coordinated motion. It is easy to get way out of alignment if you don't watch what you are doing.
