How long will it burn bright? I have 4 strips now and wondering if I need to put theme on a bigger battery? Most the time it would just be a few hours but may pull a all nighter sometimes!

To answer, You have to know the amp draw. If u have a 7 amp hour battery and lights draw 1 amp then it would last 7 hours ( I think).

It's been a while but convert your watts into amps by dividing total watts (add up watts of the four strings) by voltage. This is your amp draw more or less.

For example, if you have lights that total 24 watts and four 1 1/2 volt batteries that total 6 volts, your amp draw is 4 amps. The same watts on a 12 volt battery would only draw 2 amps.

Most LEDs burn about .4 milliamperes /hr or .4 mah per meter. So depending on how long your strips are, you could be in the 2-3 milliamperes per hour for all four strips. Your 7ah battery (7000 milliampere hours) should last you about 2000+ hrs if that's all you have pulling from it...

This is my understanding from the reading I've done anyways...
