I did a guided trip with Shane Davies this evening. First time I have fished that part of the Brazos since all the rain and flooding. My how things have changed. Shane as always put me on the fish. From the second cast until almost dark I was catching fish. Most in the pound to pound and a half range but several nice ones over 3 pounds. The weather was perfect. I can't wait to make that run again. Every time I go with Shane I learn so much about river fishing. If you haven't been on a kayak fishing trip with Shane you need to do it! You will be glad you did!

You're right, the river is in the best shape in over a decade. I'm running morning and evening trips just to accomodate folks and their busy schedules. I will get the pics uploaded and emailed to you when I'm off the river this weekend.
