Nice fish! How deep were you fishing? In my pond when I feed them I set my float about 1 1/2 ft under where they are feeding.

the canal is 3-4 ft deep...like u, i had a cork at 1 1/2 ft...got sum GULP floating bait...gonna try it this week...it's so hot, they may not come up n the canal

caught this one on a jig right after the feeder went off...then caught a couple with the GULP dough bait...also a couple of turtles...:(:(:(

catfish r swimmin' tongues...they eat nethang...we used 2 run trotlines n west coffee on Lake Kemp between Seymour and Vernon...geese wood roost over the lines and guess what the catfish were full of...yep...goose sheet...!!!...flavored the meat!!!
