So I am really new to jig fishing and i really don't know a whole lot about jigs. Was wanting to get some advice on weights, types, trails, etc. how to fish it anything that can help a beginner jig guy learn a little. Ive started fishing them recently but not luck on them.

Crawl them, hop them ,jump them(Mark Pack style)
Make it look like a Crawdad. Soak it in Crawfish oil.
You will get bit !

There's swim jigs, football head jigs, and flipping jigs. Which ones are you wanting to try out? I like to fish football head jigs in deep water with a rocky bottom. I put a small creature bait as a trailer and cast out. I like to slowly drag it or bounce it on the bottom. Good luck.

Your jig needs to have everything on it that a big Bass is looking for; so play upon every one of the senses that you can. Living Rubber Skirting really makes a jig cater to the Bass's senses. It gives the jig more action while at a pause and holds my Crayfish Extract scent which is something Silicone will not do very well. I also want the jig to have big eyes as well. I use 3 selection of trailers and keep changing until I find the one they like, in (Crayfish scented Twin Tails, Speed Claws, and Boxing Claws). If you need advice about living rubber skirts and scent give me a shout. Each of my jigs carries all of these senses and each comes with the 3 trailers.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.
