I was recently re-assinged to Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville and am wondering about the fishing opportunities in the area. I know we have the "river walk" kind of set up on the Guadalupe and there is Flat Rock Lake/Dam a few miles away. What i am wondering is if anyone has done any fishing at either lately and can tell me what to expect. I am planning on investing in a kayak at some point or renting one from the park, so wont be just bank fishing. Any suggestions or reports would be awesome!!!

Use to attend BBQ Cook-Offs there every Easter weekend although have not gone in several years. Would always go a day early and bank fish for cats at Flat Rock Park. Always managed to put several bags of fillets in the freezer. Fished shrimp on a Carolina rig.
