Does anyone have an opinion on which lake is fishing better right now? I can't decide which one I want to go to this weekend. I realize fishing is tough right now, but hopefully you guys have some thoughts. Thanks.

So guys what is best to fish for in PK if not Bass? We are heading out there next weekend. I was hoping to do some bass fishing. Is the striper or sand bas ok out there?

Ya man carter has been crazy tough! The wife and I are going to the lake house so I'll be at it for 3 days! But in the last 7 trips it's been 3 fish and 4 bites! The water is stabilizing but still tough! I know the sandies are crazy good right now but I know ur not after those! I'll pm u my number and u can call me Friday afternoon and I'll tell ha how Friday morning goes!

Too many pleasure boaters on PK, go to Amon G. Carter and go to the new side. Fish the dam with a crankbait, fish each end with a c-rig, flip the timber starting in 8-10' and back out to till you find them. Fish weithless wacky worms. If that don't work, its better than sitting at home. You cant catch them if you don't go.

Thanks Josh and good point David. I definitely agree with you on the boat traffic on PK, and I would prefer Amon Carter anyhow seeing as my parents have a lake cabin there I can stay at. I think I may give it a shot.
