I know their bay boats don't run all that shallow, but can someone tell me what they think/know of the build quality? I have a friend thinking about to pull the trigger on one and would like some advice.

Anyone here running a Nauric Star 1810?

I have been in several, I wish I had one.
I sure would go larger than 1810.

I would to lenahorse, but that's what his budget will do for him. I tried to get him to at least put the rated 115 on it, but he's settling for the 90.

I have a 214 XTS SB. I have a 150 V MAX on it. I really like it so far. The boat is built well, and I really don't have too many complaints. There is no wood, the doors on the rod boxes are well built with good hardware, fit and finish is pretty good, and I like the seating arrangement of it. As far as performance, I am satisfied. It will run just shy of 50 MPH with full fuel, full livewells, gear and 600 pounds of people. It planes out quick, and rides real well. Last week we got into some 2-3' rollers, and it handled them very well and pretty dry also. I eased past several bass boats that were getting a pounding, and I sure don't miss my old Champion when it comes to that. The wiring in it could be a little neater, and the back seats could have a little more cushion to them. I looked at darn near every brand I could find, and went with the NS. I would urge your friend to get bigger than an 18' if possible. I fish with my son and occasionally a friend or two, and would hate to have any less room. Hope this helps.

I did see a very very clean Red/White 1810 parked at Kens Appliance in Bridgeport a couple weeks back for 18K. It had a 90 HP Honda. It may be gone, I don't know.

I have a 2200 . My only gripe is the wash down system is weak!!! Other than that it has been a great boat !

I have owned the 1910, the 2200T, and currently run the 2110 Shallow Bay with a Yamaha 4-stroke 225 SHO. Quality is first rate!! It is absolutely as good as any of the Skeeters that I have owned and the price of the NS is much better! The Shallow Bay has a draft of 10" and the most others around 12-14". The price of the 1810 is good, but there are a few things that are much better on the 1910 model.

I work with a lot of new boat buyers who are looking for boats to make sure they get one that meets their needs. In the last 3 years I have put buyers in 4 1910 models, 2 2200T models, and 1 203DC runabout. Everyone absolutely loves their boats. I will never leave the brand as long as they continue to produce such great boats.
