GUARANTEED $500 1ST PLACE PAYOUT

The Texas Striper Association's 7th and final tournament of the year will be hosted on Possum Kingdom Lake on Saturday August 15, 2015. The tournament will be held at the South D & D Boat Ramp. Registration will be begin at 5:30am and end at 6:00am. If you have pre-registered you do not need to come to the registration. The weigh-in will be at 3:00pm, also at the South D&D Boat Ramp. Guides are also welcome and encouraged to participate.

Tournament Registration fees are $100.00 for TSA members and $135.00 for non-members. There is also a $20.00 big fish pot that everyone can participate in. Complete rules are located on the Texas Striper Association Website at http://www.texasstriperassociation.com.

If the Team Captain registers early, by mail, the team does not have to check in the morning of the tournament. The Team can go to where ever they want to launch and begin fishing at the start time posted on our website at http://www.texasstriperassociation.com/. The start time will be posted no later than one week before the tournament date. The team must also stop fishing by 2:00pm. All lines must be out of the water by 2:00pm and the Team must be in line for Weigh-In at 3:00pm. Each team will be weighing in their five (5) biggest fish.

There WILL NOT be a Captain's Meeting.

For The Possum Kingdom Tournament on August 15, 2015:

Start Time is 6:15am - You Cannot Start Fishing Until This Time. No Lines Should Be In The Water Prior To 6:15am

Stop Time is 2:00pm - All Lines Must Be Out Of The Water At 2:00pm. You Must Be In Line For The Weigh-In By 3:00pm.

PK will be a tough lake this August. Look through the posts and see how few post there are of great catches on PK this summer.

PKfishin you should come on out and join us. The tournaments are always fun and they are a great way to meet other folks that like fishing for Stripers. Anyone can win these tournaments.

As for the fishing on PK, I have seen some big fish caught on that lake this year. A 20 pounder was caught by one of Randy Woods' customers a couple of weeks ago. It can be tough, but you just never know if you don't get out there.

George I will be there. I am the person that called you about the tournament on Wednesday. Thanks for taking the time to provide me all the information I was asking about. I was really impressed with how generous you were with your time.

I have a friend that will be fishing the tourney also, but I believe they are going to register the day of.

We fished PK this morn and did pretty good. In fact, I wish the tourney would have been today.

I really hope there is a good turn out and I am looking forward to meeting some new people that share the same passion to catch stripers as I do.

I'm no expert fisherman but I've caught a few. Right now, PK from south D & D to the dam is tough tough fishing. I'm sitting at the lake now and can't convince myself I could catch anything if I went fishing. I fished several hours yesterday and have ONE sandbass to show for it. I did catch a nice box of big perch trying to get a few small ones for bait. I've used bait and lures. I think it's hard to catch them when they are not there. I fished the green lights last night and very few fish were there. Up lake might be better.

Fishing was way slow for me yesterday. Started at 6:30 and finally caught a 13lb fish and a throwback a 12:30😳🔥🔥🔥🔥hot hot

Last I heard, Randy has a secret weapon coming to fish with him on Sat...... Team Sharc Style has a nice little ring to it.... John, it would be great to see you guys there again. Good Luck Guys!!! Sharc will be there!!

I'll come to the weigh in. If Randy Wood will let me on his boat, I'll take video of him puttin a whoopin on y'all. There's no way you will out fish those wood boys on their home lake.

Yeah, beating the Woods family on PK is going to be tough. Especially the younger one. He has already whooped me once this year!
