I have been on Mexia now for about 2 hrs and all ready boat 15 eaters up to 4 lb. through all fish back. fishing vegetation In 3 ft of water. This cheese bait chemdawg made this time around is really good. It's firmer and stays on the hook very well. I like it better then the last cheese he used.

Some days I may not get 4-5 but I fish it a lot. I like the stumps and any vegatation Will hold them. You have to move often. I only give them 15-20 mins then move and move and move some. But u have to move the lake is not very deep and there is alot of food I there for them. Chum and chemdawgs bait. Which he lowerd the price to $8.50 which is a great deal

You have to chum a lot fish all the stumps band vegatation. Even in 1 ft of water I fish it that is were most come from and the stumps. You may be getting nothing then move 40ft and be on them. You can't give it 30ins like most lakes. You move after 15-20 max. You will fined them with cum

I may go this weekend any certain areas you would suggest to try. I am taking my kids and want to put them on some fish if I can. You said it is deep. Is there any timber to fish in the deeper water or would you trtcand find shallower spots? Sorry for all the questions. Just trying to increase my odds.

Correction the lake is not very deep at all it is a shallow lake. That is why I move often, it was a typo. I rarly ever fish deeper th 5-6 feet. Unless it's winter
