I went to the creek last night From 9 pm to 3 am and had a good time. I caught 3 catfish, two blue gills, and two turtles. The gar were out in force snaping lines but it was good over all.

Crescent Bend is on fire. Lot of 7" range Bluegill and some 6 to 7" Longear. I have also seen some very nice Rios but they do not want to bite. Catching fish on small spinner baits. Red/white Little George, and a a small green/black Bitsy Minnow. Also got some good results on a small top water Berkley plug,black/yellow in color.

I need to hit the creek early in the morning sometime to see how it is. This was the first time fishing in quite a while with the added bonus of no kids to bait and remove hooks. My property is only 10-15 minutes from cresent bend but 45 minutes from home so there isn't much time for fishing.
