I've been away for some time taking care of graduate school, work, and family matters. Not much time to get out doors and put the kayak out on the water to do a little fishing. Decided it was time, braved the heat, and hit the Colorado River in Columbus Texas early this morning before the heat crept it's way up. Did not do the entire loop, but fished a small section above the HWY 71 Bridge. Two nice Cats on spinner baits, 1 small perch, and a small bass that got away as I was about to land. It was a beautiful morning and took the yak out before noon. GOOD DAY!! Glad to have shared it with my fishin buddy!

Great pic! I've been away too long too. Way to go getting back to it!
