I am planning on making my first trip to the LMF soon. I know things have changed a bit since the flood and was wondering where the best access for me to wade/flyfishing is at right now? Not looking for favorite holes, just where to park and walk. Thanks.

Evening Hole I think you can walk into...spillway creek too....google them

You can still walk to the evening hole but it looks very different. The parking lot below the spillway is gone.

Best to check in at the fly shop, then drive up to EH Bridge and park. Fish upstream or downstream from there. New Spillway Creek could be a little dicey for a first timer.

Is cold Hole still an option? Is the water level everywhere a lot deeper? How is the fishing? Still as plentiful or still recovering? Looking to go in October.

Yes ch still good below and above but walk in from eh or park at barricades and walk 300 yards in eh direction and cut thru what was lost creek.
