Woke up at 5 to make a 6AM launch. Got to the boat at about 6 we were already behind to find out we(me) left the keys to the trailer tongue lock at the dang house. Finally made it to the SP at 9 AM. Fished from 9-1. We did really well today even with the late start. The sandbass have set up pretty heavy in certain areas and don't seem to be on the move much. The hybrids is another animal. Caught several really nice hybrids but just couldn't get a solid pattern hammered out today. We would pick up 2or 3 then gone. Saw some incredible schools of fish on sonar today. White slabs seem to be the ticket, couldn't get a bite on a sassy. Kept one hybrid for fish tacos this week.
