Was this on Lake Kiowa ? If so can anyone fish there ? I have seen the lake once, we were pouring some concrete there, sure looks like a nice lake.

Yes this was on lake kiowa, no it is not open to the public to fish. You have to either be a lot owner or be fishing with a lot owner. I do know someone that might take you out for the day happy camper if you wanted to swap trips with me for a day on texoma in the fall. I would really like to go catch some smallies. I could probably even arrange for some custom painted cranks and jerkbaits to be left in your boat. smile

Yes that little lake has some nice fish in it, Chris and I gave Brad a scare with a 7 lb 10 oz kicker and 20.10 lbs sack of fish. That's my biggest fish on Kiowa so far. Spring time the big fish on this lake are unbelievable one of the best jig lakes that I have ever fished. And as small as it is with all the play boat traffic on it, it doesn't seem to bother them. I have been fishing Kiowa with Chris for several years now it is always changing, the last 3 years you had to figure out how to fish lots of thick weeds, this year, there is almost no weeds or cattails so the game has changed, but the fish are still there. Good job Brad great sack of fish.

My best on Kiowa has been 8 pounds so far... A few months ago, my and a buddy had them dialed in on squarebills.
Is the water still up on the lake or has it come down much?
