Going to buy a boat that has this motor on it. Any input from the tff. Good motor or should I stay away. Will have compression test done and do a lake test.

Mine is an 08 model, F150, made in 07. No issues whatsoever. Regular maintenance, Ringfree, and Stabil keep it going.

good motors like anything else it needs to be maintained I have one on a guide boat that has a little over 3600 hrs an still runs great.
