Hey one heck of a time getting here they shut down i 35 in three spots. The trip took 2.5 hours longer. Then my bank had a breich and are trying to get cards working with it. So after terrible trip got locked out of hotel today at least had enough cash to get room back. Card will be up in the morning they hope. we have 20 bucks for dinner and beer tonight lol. At least no accounts got compromised. I use a local bank for the personal friendly service but put me In a bind now. They were like well you could come with the draw some money that would be if I had enough gas to get back to Fort Worth to get it out and then probably would not want to come finish my vacation lol. Checked balance this morning headed for Schlitterbon and no money so they thought. My bank said it guys racing to get it fixed but really bad timing. I am a 90% cash guy on trips to prevent this but cleaned house to come back clean got delayed and just headed out with card. Hey at least my hand smells like fish did manage to pawn my story off on the gate girl at one park to let me at least fish a bit. Caught a ton of small small mouth and in a hurry. Hooked one around three pounds but pulled the hook. Oh well can only get better now if mine is not fixed tomorrow was able to make a transfer to another account but wow what a waste of prime vacation day. If I would not have caught a bunch of fish I might have pulled my hair out.

I've been looking for a place to catch small mouth. That might be about the closest place to me. I'll have to touch base with you on the area.

That sucks but catching eases that aggravation hope things smooth out

Hey card works finally lol. They have never seen a redneck floating the guad flyfishing one Hand holding beer in the other lol caught buch of bass too. If smallmouth are on your bucket list and you have never caught one this river is loaded with them. Hooked one about three pounds pulled of quick though. We wanted German food went to alpine huas tonight for dinner the great reviews are spot on. But we hat just got off the river still in swiming suits. Guy comes up and ask" do y'all have reservations" I about fell over lol. He looked at the list for a bit and said no come on I have room for y'all. He did say next time need reservation haha. So we had fantastic German food in swim gear. I'm sure out side of the busy season we would have been more out of place but worth the stop if your here! Going to San Antonio in the morning for a bit then johnsey_84 and I are going to track some fish down as well as try and meet up with banker while down here he is the rio and gill guru!goimg a lot better now that bank is working.

And he my hands have smelled like fish two days in a row haha. Just nothing up to my normal standards in size but been throwing the three so lot of fun. Caught the only lmb of the trip right at the take out waiting on the shuttle people all over in the water. Was decent fish about 16 inches. The shuttle driver pulled down as I was fighting it said man nobody catches anything in the summer haha. Biggest smallmouth I have ever caught middle in my sig was down here in the middle of two big groups of toobers.

catching some decent stripers now that all the yoyos are gone. Fish every five minutes or so and all same sixe but a lot of fun in the dark don't know what you are pulling up. Fishing tandem clouser sz6/2 they are taking the bigger one. As some of you know I fish in the dark a bit lol.

They just keep coming but not the one I'm looking for:(but hey not going to complain about fish. Bite slowed now so guess I'm about to hit the hay. At least caught a few respectibal fish. 15 or so like that will wear you with a 7'6" 3 don't tell chatterbait the rod wooped me he might tell the sandbass my weaknesses haha.

Im headed to New Braunfels to fish Tuesday and Wednesday! Our family friends own the Alpine Haus, great food, my mother who is retired works as a greeter about 3 to 4 nights a week!

Hunter 498 tell them great food. Banker for sure with the bank sfuff put us a day behind I'm back at it tonight. Bunch of hits but just one good lmb so far Jonsey 84 and I hit it earlier. Caught a decent striper on about the second cast with the clouser thought it was on but that was the only fish to hand. Had one other good flash as he had some follow.

Well I guess we just picked the wrong day last night was really slow as well. only decent fish I the night.
