I have some chicken thighs that are questionable for eating, has any body ever used them for bait?

I have used just about every part of the chicken for bait and it all catches fish. Soak it in something nice and spicy.

I bet with some of that dead red spray...

From what I have read, mostly on here, about anything along these lines will sometimes work. Just some things are going to be more consistent i.e. shad, or other cut bait fish, the more oil the better.

But if they are bad anyways, give em a shot!

Read about using chicken breast soaked in all kinds of stuff on there for blues in the winter if you cant get shad, lots of guys swear it works well.

Chicken breast in Dead Red flat out works. Never tried chicken thighs. Chicken breast stays on the hook really well, and one piece of bait can often catch several fish. I would think chicken thighs may not stay on as well, but ought to do the trick.
