I reached out to my fishing forum family a little while back looking for lodging around Fork. Several people referred Burning Stump. We took their advice and would like to thank you for the recommendation. The rooms are 1 mile from public ramp have covered boat parking and are clean rooms. I got a chance to meet and fish with Chris the owner. We had a great time and got my butt kicked by him in the process. Nice place, run by good people. We highly recommend The Burning Stump! They even leave a clean towel for you to wipe down your boat.

Had heard also that it closed (last year?) Too good of a building and location to close for long. Happy to hear it's open again.
