 12 lb flathead from one of my Brushpiles. He ate a slab bandit in Texas toast. He gave a good pull. Mo

Nice kitty. Hung 2 off a pile the other day. Wasn't skillful enough to touch. Great job. I was lucky it was PVC pile , and I use 20 lb braid for fishing the deep brushpiles. After he swam away from the pile , it was just a tug of war. I was in the boat with my neighbor last winter when he caught a 28 on the same tackle. MO

Hook broke on both without much pressure after he left the pile. I still wanted to at least see it. MO

My neighbor caught this one last winter, I was there to coach and net,  It was 28, if I recall, MO
