I believe they go on sale for 2016 around the middle of the month. Don't buy to early, or you will have to get another one for next year 2016.

Some licenses expire on Aug 31 and others are good for a year from purchase. I can't understand why you can't buy any of them on a yearly basis regardless of the type of license. I guess that was just too far above someone's pay grade to figure out how to do it. But then, no one has ever accused Parks & Wildlife of hiring the brightest and the best.

2015-2016 licenses go on sale Aug 15, 2015. Effective dates are Sept 1, 2015 to Aug 31, 2016. Your 2014-2015 license should be carried until Aug 31, 2015.
I have a Lifetime Combo so I have several options of getting the tags. I'll probably go by the local Wal-Mart. The girl that works the sports/license counter really knows her stuff.

bluebonnet2 They done made it so easy now you can pretty much buy one from your smartphone anywhere you can get a signal. Makes it hard to come up with any good 'scuses when the warden appears.
