Over slept and missed my golf date so I went fishing instead. Caught 51: 35 whites, 10 yellow bass, 4 cats , a drum and a short hybrid. Was out from 9AM to 1:30PM. Only caught substantial numbers of fish at 2 spots - Game Warden Hump and Spillway Hump both in 16-17 fow. Burned a lot of gas also looking at Long Ridge, Mid-lake Hump, Key Ranch Drop-off, Merimac Point, Doll-house Point, Spillway Point, Iron Wall Hump and Kevin's Point. All fish caught on #4 silver Mepps.

Ran into Benny and his friend Armondo, I think. They monitor TFF and, though were not local, they knew the names of the various structures on Cedar Creek. They were tossing Mepps #3 but had only managed a couple of fish. Hope you guys got into them after we parted.

Dennis,

Thanks for the report and I am glad you are back fishing. Where is the Game Warden Hump I do not see it on your map. I will be heading there Wednesday.

Bought a new mattress that's not working ... sleeping in easy chair while waiting on replacement, so was not in bedroom to hear the alarm. Good news is that wife can now transfer by herself, so I can get back to doing things I used to do - like fish and golf.

Dennis, you are awesome for posting this map! I will be fishing Cedar Creek lake all week starting tomorrow. I will be in a 15' 1977 yellow skeeter Please come give me a shout if you see me! I usually do not do well on cedar creek. I am a current student at A&M and usually fish Gibbons Creek Reservoir, which is about 29,000 acres smaller than Cedar Creek. My in-laws have a house on Cedar Creek so i bring my little boat down anytime i get the chance. Would really like to learn the lake a bit more and start catching more fish. If i had a day where I caught 51 fish I would not know how to handle it!

Go out to the Key Ranch Flats at daylight and for the first 1-2 hours, sandbass and hybrids are going crazy on top.
