 How much does this redfish weigh?

 Im guessing 30 I think I measured it 42 inches , it was the biggest one so far.

Doubtful that its 30 lbs but close. 25-30lbs would be a good guess. 36inch - 40 inch would be 20-25. I weighed a 46 inch red and it was 35 lbs but have weighed 44 inchers a little over 36lbs. it could be 30 but appears small(skinny) unless you are 6'4 and heavy but that's not the case. Nice fish and we will never know what it weighed... I usually just measure my reds. Anything over 48inches is a trophy for me and 50+ is always the goal but rarely achieved. This dude is a little over 30lbs. I'm 5'11 223 lbs  Be careful lipping those reds. Big ones that are not exhausted are capable of some damage!

Very nice, my biggest was 30 , but it was short with big shoulders and large girth. hate to guess other folks fish,  Just call it 42 inches. ( like the Yankees ) Mo
