Thanks everyone, used nightcrawlers and all night it was just little cats, then this bite wasnt even that hard of a bit but when i set the hook and it budged just a little then took off sideways i told my fiance this one is a little bigger lol

Next time you go, take a loaf of bread. Tightly squeeze a small bread ball around your hook and try that. It will stay on the hook better than you might think. If you really want to get high tech, mix a very strong mixture of strawberry kool aid and dip the bread ball into the mixture right before you cast it out. Buffalo like the fruity scent and flavors.

I use 1 to 2 packets of the kool aid mixed into 1/4 cup of water. A quick dip of the bread ball into the mixture and you are good to go. Have fun and show us some more pics.

For carp i used to use oatmeal,big red, strawberry jello and corn starch for binder.

Pace bend has been fishing well since the water settled after the April/May rains. My best results have come off the good old can corn and circle hooks in about 6-10ft. Next time you go drop me a PM as I have been dropping the spent brewing grains in a couple spots .

Sweet thank you sir, what coves do you generally go to, i checked a few but it seemed most looked like big drop offs or cliffs i ended up and mud cove way in the back where the road ends.
