Given the general opinion by most fishermen regarding PWC, this is probably not the best place to get advice on purchasing one.

I have no problem with pwc's, it's most of the morons riding them.

I think there are a lot more fishermen that have a pwc than will admit to it on here. Like me. I did my research on them a few years ago and then bought a Yamaha 4 stroke three seater. It will pull a tube, slalom skier or wakeboarder. No other fisherman will ever say I've bothered them. I don't fish off mine, but I've been tempted, especially when birds are working across the lake.

The silence is deafening, huh? My advice: Check out the warranties. I haven't had to use mine, but 5 years is what I got, and it is worth the peace of mind. Don't overlook Stadium Yamaha because of its location. Don't let your people plow with it - get that thing on pad so you don't annoy other boaters. If your going to pull a tube, install a diverter to keep the water spout from blinding the tube riders.

Plow: more than headway, less than on plane. Throwing a perpetual hole-shot type wake, esp. When others are enjoying the water.
