For all Abu Garcia C3 fans, here's a reel you can call your own..
C3 Catfish Special Round Reel - available 9/9/2015

Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.

Nice reels. Still haven't got to play with the new 6500 reels but they changed the guts of the 7000 a little but

Well that is just my luck. In the last month I have bought 6 new c36500 to start getting serious about catching catfish and now they come out with these. That orange color is pretty cool. I have one pro angler rod left without a reel might have to see how one of these work when it comes out.

Looks like a nice reel. It's basically a Striper Special with the old school button on the side to release the spool rather than the thumb button. I may try one.

Does anybody know where to but some power handles cheap? They are pretty expensive when I need 20 of them.

Here's a shot of the 6500. I'll dig up some more pictures of this one me the 7000 before they got slimed up and post them in the next few days.

Nice looking rigs. For the money I would probably just by a c-3, not worth the extra 60 bucks to have a pic of a catfish on the side.

I plan on buying a few of them in about 20 years. I don't buy new Abus. They cost too much.

Nice! Really nice especially the lever instead of thr button... but daaaaaammmmnn! 149 plus tax on a 6500??? Don't get me wrong I pay to play but just a bit ridiculous on the pricing?? I whence when buying 120.00 c3's I have purchased 6 over the last year. Im not a cheap person by far. For all those who want to raise catfishing to bass fishing level..............here ya go!

I'll stick with the C3 6500s. Orange has never been my favorite color anyway.

What I am seeing Is to much plastic on the outside. I will bet there is just as much inside.
No thanks I will stay with my old reels.
