I'm looking at buying a 2007 Ranger boat with a Ranger Trail trailer. Owner says everything works on boat but trailer brakes don't. He says it's around $1500 to fix. Seems a bit much. Anyone else had this problem?? Thanks

if he's knocking the repair price off the deal, I'd say 2500.00....

j/k..

could a little high, but if its to replace everything, it may be close..now if all it needs in a good cleaning and putting in fluid and bleeding..well......................

Most likely it's the master cylinder. It's a common problem on that trailer. I had the issue and had it replaced, fluid and bleed. I think it was around 300.00. Just open the cap and if it's dry you found the problem.
