Few from RR yesterday in 28-30 FOW caught in 25'. They liked the Thermocline Lures black emerald and pearl ice shad. The catfish also like them. I lost 6 jigs to cats and caught 2 more.

I also wanted to post something that REALLY got my blood boiling and, in a way, ruined my day of fishing.
Below is a pic of a boat with a man, his mother and his wife in a red Triton boat with a Mercury motor. I kick myself for not getting the TX#. They were tied off under the same bridge I was under.
When I heard them start their motor and leave, I looked over and they were throwing beer cans and trash out of the boat. I paddled around in my kayak until I was able to get every piece they threw in. I filled 1 and a half plastic grocery sacks of their trash. I also noticed they were keeping undersize crappie while I would paddle by or be fishing the pillar next to them. Anyway, it pissed me off something terrible and at the same time, I was very saddened because our lakes will be ruined for future generations. Banks will be lined with trash all the way around every lake if that type of behavior continues. You can't see all the trash in my pics, just the larger 16 oz beer cans.

It's too bad you were not able to get their TX #'s for both accounts!!!

very nice gesture what you did....they will eventually get theirs,throwing trash out of the boat and keeping the under fish.

Even though you didn't get their boat numbers, you brought it to the attention of others. Maybe we can all watch for this kind of irresponsibility on the water. Thanks for taking the time and effort to clean up their mess. If they did it once, they'll do it again and we can turn them in.

Thanks. That's what I assumed but just checking. Did you try it pointing forward first or just turn it sideways from the start? Sideways makes more sense to me.
