If you're going to fish south of the 1097 bridge, my advice would be to get on the lake at first light and off before noon. Recreational traffic is crazy. I've been having fun early on frogs and topwaters. You can catch them in 10-15' on brushpiles with 10" worms and crankbaits. Docks will produce a few fish. I've had success skipping a swim jig and flukes.

Sweet, I'll have to deal with the traffic though. I'll be fishing from light till dark. May even do a little night fishing

Start South in the am and watch for other boats heading North of the 1097 bridge and follow them up you'll have a more enjoyable time North later in the day with out having to deal with all the jet fleas and bigger boats.
