Heading to Lewisville Lake for the first time since the flood. Anyone catching any bass, I will be in the hickory creek arm. Thinking I want to go way back in some of these flooded coves with top water in the early morning.

my buddy has been out exploring creeks and going WAY up them (like past 380, I a 21ft boat) and hasn't had much luck or seen too much to talk about. I'd wager your best bet with current water temps hovering around 90* would be to find some contours with structure/cover happening right around the cross of the thermocline. That will be the most oxygen rich coolest water for bass and baitfish to relate to, and they'll be all over anything that fits that description. Otherwise, it's Lewisville lake in the summer, she fishes tough generally.
