Anybody got any advice for fishing lake worth? I haven't been in 30 years. And I'm only in my twenties!

Fished it a couple weeks ago and never could discern a distinct pattern. Fishing the shallows wasn't fruitful (2 fish in 3 hours), and I haven't fished it enough to know where locals have put brush piles. I was thinking we needed to explore the deeper water or near the dam, but didn't make it on that trip.
LW is near my house, so I'd definitely like to learn more about it. Like Bill Wilcox says on Honey Hole, there's no substitute for time on the water. Guess I just need to fish more!

Caught 6 bass out there last saturday. 3 spotted bass and 3 largies. All under 14 in. I had about 25 bites, all tiny ones.

I would rather go somewhere else! The problem is I have a tourney coming up in aug. Last month I asked for advice about Granbury for the same reason and I won that one based on advice. Trying to get some more to help this time also.

The lake is the worst it's been in years. Haven't caught a fish up the river all summer. Still having too much water come down from eagle mountain. All the little bites are perch. Donated dozens of baby brush hags to perch. Id say find a way to fish deeper as I have been eliminating lots of the banks out to 10-15' of water.
