I found a oil leak on my 2009 Stratos 186, it happens to be a stress crack on the top mounting bolt on my oil tank assembly (part#5007253). I am hoping someone can help me with getting a new one. The install looks rather straight forward so just need to parts for it. I would rather give my cash to a local than order online, a TFFer would be even better...

Thanks

You will need to supply outboard motor info not boat.

I would order the tank from boats.net and not worry about it.

That is because they break a lot. I have put several on. Boats.net gets parts from many suppliers. They do not stock anything themselves.

Gotcha...You know anyone that has tried to fix one? I have "restored" the plastic on motorcycles as well as other plastic car parts...There is obviously a fault in the build of the unit that is under too much stress. By allowing it to stay in the position it sits when broken then repairing might be better than replacing several times
