How do i remove prop wash, i dont have a jackplate but i do raise the motor high enough for it to scan.

Will i just have to deal with it?

Sorry for pictures being sideways not sure why it did that its straight on my computer must be forums

With no jackplate I think you will have to deal with it.

Not sure if you have power trim but trimming up may help. Not sure but what about adjusting the transducer angle. Recommend keeping it parallel to the water line on the boat. It insures it is level when on the water.

I would try moving the transducer close as possible to the center of the boat, that makes the cone angle smaller as it comes off the transducer where the prop wash is occurring and should not pick it up

I'm wondering if we can really call it prop wash since the transducer is technically in front of the prop?

Is it better explained by the lower unit on the outboard?

It's not prop wash. It's the turbulence coming off the center of the bottom of the boat. If you move the transducer close to the middle it should go away. The downfall is it will be really low making it easier to get knocked off or broke.

It's not prop wash move it to the center with a transducer shield and you will be good to go.

I have my transducer mounted in the exact same place on my boat and I get the same image on the left side...all I do is trim the motor up and it goes away completely.
