Im wanting to go to lake raven in Huntsville but have heard the hyacinths have taken over the lake. Has anyone recently been there and how was it?

Hyacinth is there in force, but hasn't taken over. They are spraying it, so it will all be gone soon. Hopefully, the lily pads will come back and the lake won't turn into a mud pit with no vegetation. Fishing has gotten progressively slower over the last month (for me anyway) with high water temps and no fresh water. Haven't been lucky enough to be present when the bass were schooling good, but there is always that chance this time of year.
