Can anyone tell me if any of these have fish on them?

Also people without side imaging this is what 99% of the lake is going to be and its hard to tell what is what
gives you an idea of what its going to be like

Thanks

its always been hard to tell for me on the side image, i would suggest you mark, then go back over with downimage or traditional sonar, that may be better. Looks like grass on the last photo to the right. Or you could always just fish it and see what happens.

The last photo on the bottom right is the shoreline

I'm not so sure but it looks like the left side is showing some interference.

To me, use side imaging to find areas of interest. Fish them or idle over them and switch to down imaging and sonar.

To my untrained eye (have only been serious about using side imaging for about a year) it appears you have bait fish in your down scan (black strip in middle) in first and second image and the last image in the lower left (just to the right of temp) you have approximately 9 fish. I do as stated above by nitroslim, drop a way point on some thing that looks like a fish to you and then go back over it with down scan or traditional sonar. This way you start to get a feel for what is a fish and what is not. I have found I am getting pretty good at it and am right 90% of the time. Now that's not to say I am not missing fish because I am dismissing a lot. Plus I do not even try when there is a lot of cover (yet).

To get the best detail I would keep the range to 2 times the depth on side imaging. Anything in black means the sonar never pinged back to the transducer which they call a shadow. So you have to look at what is showing on the water column. Anything in the water column will cause a shadow. The closer to the bottom the closer the shadow is to the object. I suggest checking out itainttv.com and buying the DVDs and i believe there is a money back guarantee if you buy the DVDs and are not satisfied. I have the set and they are far superior to anything on the market. I have no tie to product just a customer.
First video example: Sonar is nothing more than a ruler by measuring the time it takes sound which has constant velocity in any medium or situation. The vertical part of the screen is distance and the bottom is time. On regular sonar the screen is white and there are pixels which are basically tiny light bulbs. The unit only turns the lights on the very far right side and is the only place on the screen that is real time. To further explain sound wave is received back by the antenna aka transducer it turns the light on an stays on at that exact distance from the transducer. If there is no return then no ligh is turned on and the screen remains white. Therefore, how fast the boat is moving matters and explains why arches appear and why lines are horizontal, vertical and/or slashes. The peak or top of the line arch is where the transducer was closest to the transducer and could mean directly under the boat if signal strength shows to be the strongest. So slashes that go up from left to right are in front of the transducer and slashes going down from left to right are behind the transducer. Wilson Frazier has very nice diagrams to show Just about every possible situation that can show up on the sonar screen all on the DVDs. If understand those examples you should be able to figure out what the unit is telling you. It is not a picture or TV. It is a measuring device nothing more or less. If spend the money for these units spend a fraction more to understand how to use them.

So those giant looking clouds of bait are not covering the entire water column. The bait and the boat are moving so the bait are at transducer started picking up the bait the quickly were under the boat hence the vertical wall cloud then the bait were under the transducer for a while and then started bait and boat started moving away from each other. The bait are are 4 ft under the surface or lesson tightly packed school like you would see swim alongside the boat.

Looks more like a grass line.

The first 2 blue ones have bait, the whiteish clouds. The orange two are showing mostly wood laying on the bottom but I can see a few individual fish in there.

That blurry line to the left of the centerline is an echo from the disturbed/aerated water coming off the hull bottom and indicates the transducer is to the right of the keel.
It's not "interference" since the unit is recording the echos.

There may be a solid line echo also from part of the hull or jackplate, but it is difficult to tell without the corresponding DI image and the use of Enhance Sharpness or a Compact SI transducer.

The first two screen shots have the Sensitivity level too high to see much detail. There should be baitfish echos on the bottom but they are washed out on the bright bottom.
