I took out a customer that works for Chanel 10 news and his some they ended up leaving with 45 in the box Then the fallowing day I went out with Freem Clark my mother in law and son. we were just killing them with quite a few very large channels we had to leave early do to my daughter being really sick so we quite fishing about 1230-100 had 54 in the box not to in clueding all the ones we through back.. we were still catching them like crazy when we left The bit the past week has been super light if the corks were not so sensitive would not be able to even tell they were bitting. all the fish were caught in 1-3ft of water using a slip cork and chemdawgs dough bait

I wish i lived closer to a lake I would bait them up the for a few days before a customer shows. on the other Hand I Like the challenge of locating the fish I may have to more a few times but i find them. i just show up toss out some chum and give it 25 mins if we get nothing or it is slow I move then we mov so fare I have been able to get all the groups very close to there limits. even with the bit so light real light on the cheese dough I did have a guy who brought is own bait he picked up from the store said it was all he would use after about 35mins with only 3 fish and my sone and i were catching them left an right he finally switched and he and is grand son went home with a limit each at th end of the day

I took the week off from guiding to take the kids and mother in law out a few times this week and go after some whites wich i dont care much about but my mother wants some so we will go get a few out of waco. I really dont like to fish for whites they just are big enough or have enough meat on them to mess with But she wants to go that mean i can go fishing as well

I did go to waco once last week the bight was light and it was a bit slo compare to normal i think it had to to with the water coming down you could see on the trees the water lines but they were in there uses places right in the stumps in 2-4 ft of water sory i dont take to many pics most days i am hurting so much i just want to get home and since i dont clean there fish nd there is no place at the ramps i use it does not cross my mined till after I am half way home

Nice job Chemdawg!!! Sound like all is going well. We've had a busy Spring/Summer on RC and now it usually slows just enough to catch your breath before we go into Fall. Good Luck and Good Fishin'!

Chemdawg,
Have you thought about finding a couple of points and dropoffs on Belton and baiting them? I know that's a hard lake to fish, but it's close to you and could possibly turn out OK with some regular baiting.

OK. Will let you know. I can't fish until Aug 15 when I can get my cheapie Senior license. My year end license expires on July 30 and I'm not going to give the state any $$$ until I can get my all-water $22 license.
