Got a buddy coming this weekend or next. I moved to east texas in August and just got back in a boat and haven't fished Caddo in about 4 years. Is it still high? Last time I was there it was a lot of weightless stuff and repeaters. Still pretty much the same?

Caddo is in pretty good shape. I would say fishing is decent not really putting out big number days but still some good fish being caught. Plenty of pads and a little grass to fish.

I had an OK trip a few weeks ago. It was HOT out there. Frog bite picked up like a light switch went on right at dark.
Big worms around trees near pads also worked pretty well. I pulled in a 6 and 1/2 pounder that went 22" with a KVD Ocho Tx rigged. I the only bad thing was I went almost the prior three hours without a bite.
Water level is closer to normal than high now.
