Unit is on the boat in southern louisiana so can't take to a dealer here. Does anyone know where I can go in and get an sd card with the newest update already on it so I can take with me down there. Unit is hds8 generation 2 and never been updated. Bass pro doesbt, lowrsnce won't even mail one. Leaving Friday morning. Thanks

I doubt you're going to find a retail location with the update preloaded on a card. You can buy a SSD card at Walgreens, CVS, or Walmart for probably $15 and download the update from this link: http://www.lowrance.com/en-US/Software-Updates/HDS-Gen2-40/Unzip the file and copy it ( drag n drop ) to the card. Hope this helps!
