Got back to LA today and tried the baited hole. Got there about 7:30 and first bite about 8:45. Had 4-5 dinks and the wife caught 2 nice keepers. About 16in each. Battery for big moter went bad so we quit a little after 10. Pardon her wet T-shirt. These were her first ever keepers.

More info. Caught on Stubby's bait at the edge of a drop from 13 to 17 fow. The fish wanted the bait to be moving a little.

I am on m way. I have some chemdawg and my cast net. Think it's possible to get to it from the bank? I can cast 200 yards or so

Mr. Reanon. From simpson park go as far to the right as you can as you face the water. A large wall will stop you. Throw NE from there. You cant get to that spot but same type of water you can reach

Bait cannon actually. Made a thread in the bank fishing section about it . Actually didn't quite hit 200 yards. Small leak in a coupling. Got it out 150-170ish though .

Someone did take a video, and if I was smart I would've had him send me it. I'm off tomorrow so hopefully I'll have time to perfect it and absolutely make y'all a video of it in action .
