well it finally happened...a major disaster with the new hp-ch. first calamity with any of my brushes. was giving it a thorough cleaning this afternoon and snapped off the fluid nozzle leaving the threaded section in the brush. managed to get the piece out of the airbrush but now the painful $$$$ ordeal of replacing it. that tiny little bugger is around $50. ouch!

whoops! must have been the trauma of the whole event. i meant the fluid nozzle. i have amended the original post. doesn't look like it's as big a hit on coastairbrush, which is a good thing, because they sure are proud of them on amazon and here locally.

Good catch TXmed...saved us both (BC & myself) a few bucks down the road. I've only used my new Iwata airbrush once. Remodeling guys took over my garage/shop and I'm down for a while. Anyway, BC found a great deal on the HP_CH model and shared his find with me. Just had to get one to see for myself why everyone loves their Iwata airbrush. Side by side comparison with my best Paasche VL seals the deal for me. Its lighter, feels better engineered and the MAC adjustment is much more precise. Just need to put in some work with it and get comfortable with it.
