Has anybody heard of anyone catching a fish in Medina since it came up. I heard of a few bites but have yet to hear of anyone actually catching a bass.

Haven't heard a thing. I'll send a message out to Bandera and see what the locals have to say.

I've got nothing to report. Either their not fishing or their not telling. My cuz says he hasn't heard anything.

Wow, I guess it's just one step above the dead sea for now.

Even in its current shape it's probably still better than Choke Canyon.

Just got back from Medina Lake. I didn't launch, just drove out to take a look. Fishing is slow, water temp is 87, and locals say the lake is starting to turn over and getting a little green. I thought it looked good. I'll get a before and after picture on here taken at Red's Cove.

I went out for a few hours when it was at 75% and got 4 bites, two keepers, really healthy and in good shape. Lots of fingerlings stocked so in a few years it should be good again, that is if we keep some water in it.
