Went down to Laguna Park for diner at the Bosque Resort last night.. great shrimp platter.. shrimp were as good and as big as Del Frisco's in Fort Worth. Late Whitney was B-U-S-Y! The Day Use Park at Lofer's Bend was full. Lots of boats on the lake.

The Media Bass Tournament is running out of Lofer's Bend today, the weigh in is at 3 p.m. .. it ought to be a zoo today with all the bass boats, wake boarders and ski boats... should be quite a show if you can find a place to park.

McCown Valley Park is supposed to open on July 31 according to the folks at Bosque Resort. They said that Soldier's Park had opened this week.. it was covered up too...

The lake looks great... Heard from a couple of guys that they were catching a few fish this past week... Fish should be hungry since there has been little to no fishing on it since March...

Been better part of 15 years since Ive spent any appreciable amount of time out there, haven't been there at all for 2 years and that was my first anniversary trip so we didn't fish much at all. Going for 4 days with my family in September will see what its like, cant wait.
