In the grand scheme of things, in all my years of fishing for hybrids, I consider catching one hybrid on a trip a success. Sometimes I do catch a bunch of hybrids, but am happy with just the one...like yesterday on Lewisville. As far as a trip to Tawakoni, you should feel fortunate for the best of possibilities.

I was out there Friday night from 10pm to 7am and only left with 4 sand bass. My wife had a nice sized hybrid on but snapped the line right at the boat. We were fishing the humps by the dam with minnows under a floating light.
You can kill a fly with a sledgehammer,
But do you really need to son???
