I finally ordered some lights. I went with the navisafe lights. Not sure why they aren't more popular but they seem much brighter and cg approved. Anyone using these? I've seen the magnetic base simply glued to the bow of a kayak and you just stick the light to the base. I'm using a ram mount both front and rear in a geartrac. I will use the same dogbone extension pole I use for my gopro on back https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pvZHly2A4kk

Very neat. Easy to use. Will get for night fishing.

Those are cool. They look bright. I just struggle to fish at night in my old age.

Those are pretty sweet looking and easy to keep and carry with you. If I ever start doing night fishing, that's what I'll buy.

Not to sound obnoxious but I thought everyone night fished. I've done it as long as I've been fishing. It's always been a way to fit it into my crazy schedule, plus a way to beat the heat in the summer. I've float tubed the grassland lakes at night, spent tons of time on Grapevine around the docks in Twin Coves and chasing trophy fish on Fork. It's never been a big deal and is a blast when you have a fish blow up on a top water just as you're bringing it out of the water!

Mariner Sails has Navi Lights, Visi Pros and many others on the shelf to see touch and feel. It is always best to support your local shops instead of supporting foreign aid.

Nice lights. When I anchor most of the time I turn off the bright white light on my little boat due to the fact it draws too many bugs. I can hear the jet fleas or Bass Chasers coming from a long way off and I turn it back on and put my spotlight on them for good measure.
Not sure what it is about Bass Boat owners that causes them to blast though no wake areas at high speed. I was fishing lake Fork 515 bridge a week ago and had boat after boat blast though the no wake zone under the 515 bridge. Worst part was the water level is just high enough to have the bridge bash your head once that big wake comes though and your tied to a bridge pillar.
John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

Nice lights. When I anchor most of the time I turn off the bright white light on my little boat due to the fact it draws too many bugs. I can hear the jet fleas or Bass Chasers coming from a long way off and I turn it back on and put my spotlight on them for good measure. I did this on Lake LBJ with a small jet boat and got a ticket from the Game Warden. I was in a no wake zone tied up to a bridge piling out of the main flow of traffic and fishing directly under a highway light on the bridge. The bridge light threw off so much light I could tie fish hooks on my line without using any other light source. The Game Warden didn't care - it was after sunset so I needed the boat light on. I just bought a Yak Attack light from Mariner Sails. They have a big selection of lights in stock which makes picking one out easier with their help. The foam float on the light fits my rod holder so I don't have to drill more holes for another Scotty base. I plan to move the light back and forth from the Native Ultimate kayak to the Bass Raider as needed. I do need to put a Scotty base on the Bass Raider.
