What do you call those spinning reels where you can lock in the depth with that little tab on the side?

Zebco Slabseeker. They make them in both spinning and spin cast versions.

But will the drag still work as you know sometimes those ditch pickles like them crappie too

Thanks. What's the difference between a spinning reel and a spin cast reel? I'm sorry but I don't see the distinction.
