Fished Rayburn as a change of pace from Fork, yesterday. I did catch some fish but all tiny. Stayed shallow and in the shade when possibly. Didn't catch any over a pound... senkos and spinner baits in around the trees under the shade, tiny rapala countdown for the schooling bass on the outside of the grass. Beautiful lake.

Impressive wrap job and only other vehicle in the parking lot when I launched around 11 a.m.

Headed there tomorrow. I'll start shallow but I envision myself out deep... getting skunked. Lol

They was in willow trees good but thats when the lake 9.5 feet over pool I bet with them dropping the lake so fast majority done pulled out deep.

Great pics, thanks for the report smile
Last I pre-fished Rayburn it was almost 10' high & on fire. 1st bass was 5lb+ & no unders all day, about 75 fish. Got broke off a few time by monsters deep in the willows. 2 days later on T day... no love, just a few box fish, LOL roflmao

With the water dropping so fast and the temperture staying around 100 I would start on points close to deep water. I was out last weekend and they are there.
As for the truck, being a veteran myself, I commend her if she did that on her own but if tax dollars paid for any of it I would say that money could have been better spent to "truly honor those who served" in a better way. Just my opinion.

Torica is a Veteran herself and I don't think tax dollars paid for it. She has a good number of sponsors and is deep in the fishing industry. You should look her up Torica Whitty!

I got to meet her last fall when I drew her as my boater on the red river for the weekend series. She was very professional and I had a great time fishing with her that day, well except for the 20 min down pour we fished in towards the end of the day that soaked everything I had. It came up so quick I couldn't get my rain gear out of the box and on fast enough. Coach

Thanks for the pics....I've gotten to visit with Torica a few times, she's always been very friendly, professional, and just seemed like good people.
