I'm renting a boat on Lake Fork this Saturday/Sunday. I've never fished this lake so am not familiar with it at all. Anyone have any suggestions on specific baits for certain fish, locations, etc...any help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

get a map, pic an area and go for it, fish are everywhere and no where lol. lake is up to normal as I hear..adhere to boat lanes and bouys when running and be safe with life jackets and kill switch attached on plane. the bouys in the lanes are not in straight lines so pay attention to them as they joggle...good luck

I have fished the lake quite a bit but not lately so maybe others can help with patterns and baits etc.

Honestly, haven't been out there before so not sure where we'll be looking to launch. The guy I'm renting the boat from told me he'd get me all set up with a good launching spot. Definitely didn't know about the high school tourney but we'll make the best of it.

There will be at least 100 boats in the highschool tourney. Last year it was close to 200 if i remember correctly

don't worry about the high school tourney....it's a big lake and they will scatter. Be glad the Skeeter's Owners tourney isn't going on!!

Try using soft plastic on T-rigs and C-rigs. Look for the quick drops and ledges and make sure you use and over-use the graph. If it's not showing fish, move on.
